What we collect

If you subscribe to the weekly email, we collect your email address and your language preference. That's it — we don't ask for a name, a phone number, or anything else. The site also stores your language preference in your browser's local storage; PostHog's default persistence also sets a small cookie to recognize repeat visits. We use PostHog analytics — sent via g.wotai.co, a proxy operated by WotAI (the project's operator) to PostHog, our analytics provider — to see pseudonymous usage data (PostHog assigns a random visitor ID; we never see your name or email through analytics), like page views and referrers.

Why we collect it

Your email address and language preference are stored in Cloudflare D1 and used solely to send you the weekly comparison digest in your preferred language. We don't use it for anything else — no ads, no reselling, no other newsletters.

How subscribing works

Subscribing is double opt-in: you enter your email, we send a confirmation link via Cloudflare Email Service from info@hi.ktowndeals.com, and you click it to confirm. You're only added to the list once you've confirmed. Every digest email includes an unsubscribe link.

Retention and deletion

We keep your email address and language preference until you unsubscribe. To delete your data, click the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us at info@hi.ktowndeals.com and we'll remove you. Deleting means the row is deleted from our database — nothing lingers behind.

No selling, no sharing, no ads

We don't sell or share your personal information with advertisers or anyone else, and we don't run advertising on this site. There are no accounts or logins — the only thing tied to you is the email/language pair you gave us to subscribe.

Your rights

You can request access to, or deletion of, your data anytime by emailing info@hi.ktowndeals.com; California residents have additional rights under state law.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and circular images are served from assets.ktowndeals.com (Cloudflare R2). Subscriber data lives in Cloudflare D1 and is never included in this site's public data, images, or logs.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the bottom of this page reflects the last update.
